A Unique Opportunity to Learn About Guinea Fowl

Announcing the Fifth Annual Guinea Fowl International Conference on March 26-28, 2010. This conference is designed to help you learn more about your guineas and to find answers to some of the questions and issues we all encounter in keeping guineas, as well as some questions that we’re simply curious about.
Dates: Friday, March 26 - Sunday, March 28 Start time: 9 a.m. Friday, March 26 Location: Lexington, Texas, USA (near Austin)
The fee to attend will be $35 for GFIA members ($45 for non-members), which includes attendance at all lectures as well as lunch on Friday and Saturday. The fee will be $16 for members or non-members who would like to attend for 1 day only.
The focus of this conference will be on guinea fowl, and on guinea fowl in the backyard-flock setting, rather than on commercial poultry operations or on guinea fowl being raised for meat. We aim to try to learn from the commercial poultry industry where it makes sense, but also to include speakers and presenters who are not from a commercial poultry background and who can address topics of interest to us.
